Our therapy approaches
There’s no one-size-fits-all in child therapy. We draw on a range of proven, evidence-based approaches — and choose the right mix for your child after a careful assessment.
We understand your child first, then choose approaches — never the other way round.
Methods delivered through play, at your child’s pace, so therapy feels like fun.
We coach you too, so progress carries over into everyday life at home.
Speech & Language approaches
Ways we help children understand language and get their message across — from first words to clear, confident talking.
Explore Speech & Language TherapyPlay-based, child-led therapy
We follow the child’s interests and teach through play, because children learn language best when they’re enjoying themselves.
Learn moreParent coaching (Hanen-style)
We show you simple, powerful ways to build language into everyday moments at home — modelling, waiting and expanding on what your child says.

Targeted, playful practice of the specific speech sounds a child finds hard, so their speech becomes clearer and easier to understand.
Learn moreLanguage stimulation & modelling

Common questions about how we work. Anything else on your mind? Just ask us.
What therapy methods do you use?
We draw on a range of evidence-based approaches — play-based speech therapy, Hanen-style parent coaching, Applied Behaviour Analysis, sensory integration, structured visual supports and multisensory teaching among them. We don’t use one fixed method for every child; the right combination is chosen after assessment and adjusted as your child progresses.
How do you decide which approach my child needs?
It always starts with a gentle, play-based assessment of your child’s strengths and needs. From that we build an individualised plan, choosing the approaches most likely to help — and we review and adapt them as we see what works best for your child.
Are these approaches evidence-based?
Yes — the approaches we draw on are widely used and supported in child speech, occupational and behavioural therapy. We combine them with warmth, play and close partnership with parents, which is what turns good methods into real progress.
Not sure which approach is right for your child?
That’s exactly what our assessment is for. Tell us what you’re seeing and we’ll recommend the best next step — no jargon, no pressure.
